Hi taffy198234, Welcome to the Anxiety Forum. Most of us have been diagnosed with GAD as well as other off shoots of anxiety disorder. So something made you get through the anxious thoughts/fears w/no panic attacks anymore. Was it done through medication and or therapy? You have gotten to more than a half way point but still feel ill. Could it be that you are depressed and that hasn't been addressed? Depression can make you feel not well, no ambition in life, nothing to look forward to, sad, lethargic. Unless you have a medical issue going on, it might be a good idea to check with your doctor and see what he has to say.
You will find a group of caring and understanding people on this forum who will be able to share their story in how they deal with feelings. Wishing you well. x
Hi there I have a lot off stress at the moment with my eldest daughter which I feel is starting to bring me down again. I'm on medication for my anxiety x
Hi taffy1198234, It sounds like there is a reason behind your feeling ill. Living in a stressful situation can bring on all sorts of symptoms. I'm glad to hear you are on medication but you know that is just a bandage effect for now. Depending how much this is impacting your life right now, I would think therapy may help. Maybe for both you and your daughter. If not, you may need to ride it through. Walk away from situations that may prompt your stress levels to rise. Children know at any age, what buttons to push in putting their parents over the edge. You need to take care of yourself. x
It's normal to feel ill everyday when you have anxiety. Just remember there's likely nothing physically wrong with you even though anxiety can make you feel sick. I hate it and struggle most days but when I feel good I make sure to get up and do stuff best I can.
