Does anyone else find that whatever symptom you are focusing on, it gets worse as the day progresses and no matter what you try to do to help shift it it won't go for the rest of that day? I mentioned to myself earlier that I had slight shortness of breathe now I've had it all day! :(

I felt like that this morning, I felt like my breathing wasn't right with the anxiety so now it's stayed that way all day long and I can't stop thinking about it whichakes it worse. But its hard to think of anything else when u feel out of breath

Yes I focus on things all the time and it actually does make it 10 times worse

Hi why not focus on something that is not a sympton ? you have to get your mind away from thinking about illness and concentrate on something uplifting or enjoyable. that way you will forget you have problems and feel much better

If you read about 'Law Of Attraction' , states 'What you focus on you draw towards you'

ie more of same

It's the way the mind/subconscious works

Says in Bible

and Billie Holliday song

'Those that have shall get, those have not shall lose, so the Bible said and it's still in news'

Focus on health, happiness and we attract more of that

Takes thought retraining to get out of old negative focusing habits
