Sounds lame but I always say check with your dr first to make sure it's nothing. Having said that, according to you it's probably just anxiety but get it checked out so you can feel ok. That's important and always makes you feel better. but yes, anxiety can also cause a feeling of heart palpitations.

Palpitations are a really common symptom of anxiety they won't do you any harm Your heart is a really strong organ it won't stop or be damaged just because it's beating fast

Try to stop the fear of them and they will stop

Please don't worry they are perfectly normal and harmless

I have a heart condition so I'm not just saying these things

Take lots of care lots of relaxation If you lie down and deep breathe for half an hour your heart rate will come right down When it does it will reassure you everything is fine and normal

Good luck

I would definitely get checked by a professional as this could easily be confused with anxiety symptoms true but also can be aFib so yes do go see a cardiologist.

Thanks I apriciate your support. I am just worried because it hurts when it happens. I do have bad anxiety and I also suffer fro Post traumatic stress disorder so I think it is a combination of both

Sounds like you are really suffering I do sympathise

Have you seen your doctor about it ?

When I got rushed into hospital it was because I had severe chest pains that felt like I was being squeezed the pain was in the middle of my chest and took my breath away it was very severe

It wasn't happening all the time and not with palpitations

Go and get checked out then you will know if it's anxiety and you can work on that to recover

Take care x
