I want to relax In bed without having heart palps y does this happen

Relax it's normal as u r focusing on your own body .. try deep breathing, focus on a beach on a far off place where u feel safe comfortable and warm.. or some where you know and feel comfortable...

Try a beta blocker. They have helped me and make me sleepy

This happens to me too! When it happens I sit up take deep breathes or if that doesn't work I get up and walk around my room. I sleep with water beside me all the time and it also helps to drink water. Hope this can help in any way

Are you having thoughts if things that make you anxious and can't sleep? How long has this lasted?

Hi Ollie33, it sometimes has to do with the change of positions. Lying back on the bed tends to prompt more palps especially when sensitive to every beat.

Try to find a comfortable position, maybe a couple pillows behind you and one under your knees. Hope you get to enjoy your Netflix.
