Anxiety

I have recently had a breast scan and been called into the hospital for further investigation. Very, very anxious! Anyone else had this experience?

Yes I did very scary but I was fine. Don't get too worked up about it many women get called back for further investigation it's all normal. There are many more things it could be besides cancer

Thank you for responding. Did you have anything wrong or were you totally all clear?

Well I had a biopsy and it was abnormal cells but not cancer and they still wanted me to have it removed. So had surgery to remove it it was calcifications which is common. it didn't leave me disfigured just a thin white line for a scar.this was in 2012. Just had yearly mammogram last week and anxious waiting to hear

Thank you for coming back to me. I guess we all immediately think cancer, don't we? Good luck with the mammogram results. Anxious times!! I will let you know the outcome of my hospital visit.
