Last night me and the mother of my child got into a huge fight. I suffer from anxiety 24/7 but when I get into certain conflicts I feel like I'm physically effect. I can't breath right, my body becomes real shaky and I become really tense and cold. I have stress full life, I work I got to school and have a 1 year old son with special needs. Yesterday me and girlfriend ended us for what seemed to be for good this time and the thought of it all really overwhelmed me to the point where it just couldn't function properly and began to shut down. I need help. I am so alone. The doctor wants to prescribe me prozac but I eons believe in those drugs. I've tried exercising meditation and they all temperarely help but if a situation strike I'm right back into this uncomfortable miserable feeling. I'm not a suicidal person and have never thought about hurting myself but when I feel this I just wish I was never even born. The feeling is so cold and lonely and uncomfortable that just wish there was on off button on me somewhere that could be turned back on when this feeling passes. Please help me anybody.

dear nickvar423, there is an on off button for you to use and that is medication. There are times in our lives that we need to resort to something to help us through traumatic situations. Just for a short time in order for you to get yourself together maybe with therapy as well. It's not a forever thing. When thoughts get to the point of hopelessness, you need to reach out to a doctor. You cannot think rationally right now but try to believe that your doctor has your best interest at heart. Stay safe and let us know what you decide.

It's just rotten isn't it!! You get yourself into a reasonable frame of mind and there goes life again throwing a load of c..p at your feet again!! Excercise and meditation do help, so does hypnotherapy as it calms your mind. But I know it can take you right back to where you started. Doing it without any medical input isn't working so well for you !! I've always believed that sometimes it's necessary. I don't want to take medication either but it helped me cope better while taking it. I'm not on it now so if you decide to go down that route it dosnt meanit will be a permanent thing in your life. That dark and lonely place is familiar to most people!! You have to believe you will get better!! As soon as we start thinking what's the point!! Everything's so bad!! Try thinking right ok!! It's all a mess!! I'm unhappy!! So how can I make things better? We can change things. You have to try and gain a positive outlook. It's hard I know but you have to be strong. Talking it through with someone regularly may help too (therapy). Give yourself a chance, believe in yourself.Your worth it 🙏🏻
