Hi guys just signed up to this website, it seems like many people share the same issues & problems. I am glad to see that I am not the only one. I just wanted to see if there are any other people on this forum who suffer with severe rumination & worrying about the future.
I am currently taking meds & have also had long CBT therapy. I just feel that anxiety has always had the edge on me. I just can’t seem to figure out a way to stop these racing thoughts, they completely knock you out for the whole day.

When my anxiety was at its absolute worst, derealization and all, I had your exact same symtoms, and still do a little from time to time. Anxiety makes you do that. It takes you out of the present moment because all you feel is doom. At least that's my symptoms
Yeah I started going back to the gym too, 5-6 days out the week and as long as you're listening to good music while you workout, I find it helps me. But trust me I know exactly what you mean. I would worry about things like everybody's health and safety including my own, I would obsess about what year it is and 100 years from the year I was born which will be 2085 lol. I would literally obsess about what if something happens to me or someone I love. Just all complete doom. I would even sit there and worry and cry
Anxiety is an overproduction of thought leading to negativity...try to create space in your head...walk in the country, listen to music that you love, find a hobby or friends that take you OUT of your own head.....help others to stop self thought...best wishes
Many thanks for you reply & sorry for the late reply.
Your words are definitely true helping others is something i am trying to do. it makes your problems seem minor compared to what other real big problems people have in the world we live in today.
