Hi Timeless, I'm so sorry for you that's incredibly sad and tragic. No one can understand how you feel unless they've walked in your shoes. I'm so pleased you have the support from those around you. I know mornings are worse for everyone suffering from anxiety and depression. Do you have children? Working st least may take your mind off things for a while I hope. Do you have any hobbies or socialise? I know you have anxiety and depression but I wonder if you can manage ok outside of work x

Hi angep, l have a job which involves shift work, and of course mornings can be a problem. I struggle with hobbies. I just get irritated and yet when l was younger l had various hobbies. Just find it difficult to settle. X

Hello, I'm so very sorry for your pain! A loved one died in front of me 7years ago and it's left me fearful and anxious!! I also live alone, and feel very depressed. You've been through a lot and like me I moved house and work!! It was to much at once and most people would have the same symptoms!! I put on a brave face daily when really I don't feel brave. I just want you to know I understand and remember your not alone. You can message me anytime and vent or release your feelings.!! Don't keep it in as it eats away at you and makes you very tired. Great blessings to you. Regards.

Hi evelyn, thanks for your kind words. No one has ever said why anxiety and depression is worse in the morning and how it can be stopped. Sometimes l have to be at work for 5.45 am, and l can't keep starting work sobbing my heart out when l have customers to serve. So its a bit of a problem for me. X

My understanding is the most common reason people experience anxiety on a morning is because they experience stress throughout the day.when you wake up your body essentially floods with anxiety over what your day is going to be like. Coffee and fatty foods first thing on a morning can lead to anxiety and jitteriness!! Excercise burns stress hormones. It increases the release of relaxing neurotransmitters into your brain. Excercise has been shown to be more powerful than some of the leading anxiety medicines!! So basically it's 💃💃👯👯🚴🏋⛹ plenty of this at the crack of dawn!! 😁😮😏👍x

No wonder theres so many runners up and down my road. I bet they're suffering the same. 😕 l tend to go down when lm not well, and then exercise is difficult. X

I know it makes you not want to do anything!! This is were in my experience you have to make yourself!! Even a walk, or excercise. Bike!! If it helps it worth a try. I'l try most things to be honest but jogging Is going a bit far!! I've got a cross trainer and I love to walk x

Yes! It's worse first thing!! A lot of people say the same! It's a struggle to keep sane! You have to be up and out very early!! How do you manage! No wonder your so tired, bless you. Do you eat breakfast? I make sure I eat breakfast and take a banana to work. It's important you keep your energy up. I don't have a lot of sugar, but if I need it I won't stint on it as sometimes I need a bit of a kick! Are you taking any medication or seeing a doctor or therapist? I hope I'm helping you a bit? I fight it constantly. I wish there was a magic wand to take all the pain away. Your in my thoughts. All good wishes and love!

Thank you for your help Evelyn. Yes, l always have breakfast, l take a banana to work or buy one at the shop. I dont have much sugar. So we sound very much alike!😊 lve done the cognative therapy on computer and with a counseller and counselling for berevement. But somehow l think its my personally. I have low self esteem. And that is very hard to put right. Im a christian so l turn to my faith and sometimes it helps and sometimes not. X

I've, got the cbt on my iPad but yet to try it. I've tried Thomas hall hypnotherapist tapes online and it's helped a bit. Worth a try. I wish I had a faith! I do bsleive in the afterlife and know we will meet our loved ones again and that helps me carry on. I'm not great at praying but I talk to my dad who has passed every day as it helps me to be stronger. Although like you say sometimes helps. I'm more spiritual I guess. I'm having my eyes tested today , then shopping for resources for my job which luckily I enjoy. Keeping busy helps a lot. I get low when I don't have anything to look forward to. Is there someone st church you can talk to? I don't mind how many msg you send me if it helps. Thinking of you. X
