Burning skin sensation

My friend has been complaining of burning and sensitive skin. Has anyone else out there suffered with this. It sounds like anxiety to me

Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and my skin is hot and sensitive. It is not a hot flash, but I am hot all over. I think it is anxiety, as mine is on the severe side and perhaps if I am dreaming of something or whatever I wake up like this. I would bet it is anxiety, unless this person has something else wrong that could cause this. Anxiety is has so many strange symptoms. I hate it!
