Got to give it a try...I was like you, and for many years suffered. Now on anti-depressant and it has changed my life.

I am.. Then again I'm allergic to everything and have bad side effects. The best thing you could do if you are desparate enough for meds, is take it when you're at the doctors or go sit in the Hospital parking lot with a friend/family. That way you are covered If anything happens.

My doctor doesn't believe in them, talking to a counsellor or therapist and trying rescue remedy are ways that might help, and deep breathing meditation yoga and massage too,also not trying to sound unpleasant goldfish but popping pills don't always work for everyone, many people on them still suffer just as bad,so ur suggestion "just do it" isn't very helpful for every person, it worked for you that's great, and I hope I don't ever need them, not saying that I won't if that happens just I go work and I have children and I don't complain to anyone about how I feel,I go through everyday and some are good and some are really really bad, I'm doing all I can to get better without relying on medication and that's just my opinion as you have yours.
