Always nervous
Hello
Is your job during the week and then some weekends ?
Is there something particular that makes the weekends feel worse ?
Do you enjoy the job you are doing and get along with your colleagues , have you always been anxious or is it just work that causes you anxiety ? sorry for all the questions just trying to find out more why this is affecting you so bad
Hope we can help some more if you don't mind explaining slightly more what is happening
Take Care x
My job is only during the weekend and I am always anxious even when I'm going to college my anxitey kicks in. Sometimes I enjoy work but lately I dread going in and the way I feel puts me off working, I don't even want to go to work. I've even considered about quitting. It's the journey to work and once I'm there I still an nervous but when I'm on the tills I calm down a bit. But if something happens I'll start to panic. Sometimes when I'm at college my anxitey will start kicking in and I don't know why. Ever since I've started working I had made some big mistakes which I have been feeling really bad about but now I'm doing better. I think I'm just worried about making mistakes but I don't know why I'm always nervous.
Hello
Well by the sounds of what you are saying you are still quiet young
And believe me the only way we learn is to make mistakes because we learn by them and then that is how we can help someone else as we go through life
No one is perfect believe me and no one can ever say they have not made mistakes I make them all the time one way or another because this is life and we are human !
No one says anything or makes you feel bad at work do they ?
Is there anyone like a supervisor at work that you get on with that maybe you could have a chat and tell them how you dread making mistakes and how it makes you feel so anxious in case you do , I am sure they would sit and talk with you and let you know they would be fine if you did as well as the fact I bet no matter how long some of them have been there they still make them to
If you feel you are struggling is there like a support service in collage for students you could go and talk with them about how you feel again they will have heard it all before and be able to talk you through these feelings
Not sure exactly how old you are but can you speak with your Mum I am sure she would want to show you support to and if things really start to feel like they are getting on top of you there is always your GP who you could speak with
I personally think you are doing really well going to college as well as holding down a weekend job and you should feel so proud of that x
Thank you. My GP gave me a number for a therapist which I've rung and now just waiting fora date where I can speak face to face. I don't think work would care about my problems.
I am glad you have asked for some support , if you have not heard anything back in a couple of weeks give them a ring again just to ask how long you might be waiting , sometimes chasing these up helps
As for work they might not care but on the other hand they might I suppose if we never mention it we may never know ?
See how you go and if work gets really to much at the moment along side college it may be a decision you have to make if for now you just want to concentrate on college and getting yourself in a better place but you will know deep down what the answer to that is
Keep us updated how you get on x
Thank you so much. 😊😊
