I am 21 years old and I've been diagnosed with anxiety. And I can't even sleep due to this anxiety. I'm up crying right now because my heart feels like it's beating 100 beats per minute and my head feels clouded. I just wanna go back to being normal. I don't want my life to end before it's actually begun. Any help on sleeping better at night will be awesome!

Hi Riyah - Im SO sorry you are feeling SO distressed. Your life isn't ending before its begun. Think of it as more of a new journey now to recover from your anxiety. I promise the heart racing is perfectly normal with anxiety and will NOT do any damage to you your heart or any part of you. Yes its frightening, terrifying at first in fact, but it is JUST a symptom and it WILL pass I promise. As for sleeping at night I find Guided Meditations wonderful (you can find LOADS of them on YouTube but I particularly like "The Honest Guys" - they have a whole channel on YouTube with lots of meditations and all you have to do is get comfy in bed turn the meditation on and listen knowing that you are SAFE and in the moment. I wish you so much positivity and wellness. W
