Hi guys today my doctor stated me in citalopram 10mg and legit 12 hours after taken it I'm already feeling abit weird and spaced out which caused me to feel super anxious again is this normal? Or should I take it back and stop the course? I need help this has got me feeling super anxious again

Hi X I'm on 20mg citralopram X I was the same to start with but after 3/4 weeks I felt much better, they can take 6 weeks to kick in and can cause this at first but if you can cope with them until they kick in then do try too X good luck
