Car and panic

Why is it when I'm in the car sometimes, we can be on a bumpy road or my partner will accelerate and I feel like I can't breath? It's like a surge of panic. Plus we're not even going that fast? Is it anxiety? Or panic?

how long have u suffered from anxiety? It could be panic attack... Paranoia maybe? I get the same way too.... I have panic disorder

It's most likely tense neck muscles.  They can be the cause of a huge number of symptoms which are dismissed as anxiety and treated with anti-depressant tablets.    Look up the scalene group of muscles.  Good luck and hugs
