Light-Headed/Dizzy and Headaches

Hello. I got diagnosed with anxiety a year and a half ago, and since then I've experienced quite a bit of symptoms. But recently, I've been having dizzy spells and feeling very light-headed, to the point where I've almost passed out. It happens at the strangest times. Last night, I was visiting my parents and we were just sitting at the kitchen table talking when it happened. Tonight, I was sitting in the living room eating supper with my boyfriend and watching TV. I've been having very painful headaches too, and the pain is normally on the left side of my head. I was just wondering if anyone else has or is experiencing the same thing?

  • Yes it has happened many times to me, you worry about it happening again and it keeps repeating. It is very frustrating, you should have a physical from your physician to see if things check out ok to give you peace of mind. But it's definitely one of the many horrible symptoms of anxiety, I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Yes all the time my friend!!! It's tension that's all.

  • Look up migraine symptoms. There are many different types. Ocular, vestibular, etc... I have migraine with aura and I'm thinking migraines might be the initial symptom but then those of us that have the lovely anxiety issues end up panicking and maybe not even realizing it. Dizziness, feeling weird and spacey might just be connected with migraines?? But other people's brains don't freak out and go on massive panic fight or flight alert like our brains do!! So sorry, I know it stinks, I've been living with it for a long time!!
