Leg pain

Hi can somebody please put my mind at rest I have a high level of anxiety and get panic attacks all the time at the minute my legs are in pain everyday also can be different types of pain usually in my calfs or below of behind the knee is this normal for anxiety I just carnt seem to get that in my head that it is anxeity thanks

Hey just to let you know I have the same thing pain in my left calf and behind the knee I actually saw my doctor who looked at my legs and told me it's fine and with anxiety the can't explain every pain we feel.. I woke up this morning and my bum cheek muscles are really hurting haha!! X

Hi, Do you get anxious because you think something is going to happen because of the pain in the legs? Or do you think the pain is caused by the anxiety? When we get anxious we brace ourselves naturally. We stiffen up our muscles go tense and maybe this is the issue with the calf. The reason I say this is I developed terrible shoulder pains and I noticed that when I had a day where I was suffering from anxiety I would always be tense and could relax the muscles and think wow... how tense am I and then within 10 minutes they were tense again.... I say this a lot but have you ever tried Mindfulness? Many people get different things from it but one thing for sure is it will relax muscles.. In the correct environment.

Everything pain I get weather it's my legs etc I think something is going to happen someday a I don't feel anxious at all but my panic attacks just come on out the blue to I just carnt get it in my head that's this can happen I know that I have an anxeity disorder I think now I need now is how to deal with it

I get leg pain as well and it only started when my anxiety started,I know people with depression and anxiety do experience muscle and body aches, the experts seem to think its because the pain part of your brain somehow gets affected by these disorders. I also think we tense up in our sleep, and just in general but we don't notice.

I think pains are normal, its always good to ask the doctor, gives you some reassurance as well.
