Sounds like a bit of old fashioned advice, but try taking a glass of slightly warm milk to bed. It contains natural calming effects including potassium which helps lowers stress and relax you.
As well as obvious things like no caffeine at least 4 hours before you go to bed (including alcohol), it worked for me when I was suffering with insomnia.
Hello
Sorry you are suffering with lack of sleep nothing worse
I always remember been this way and getting anxious and talking to someone and they replied
Lack of sleep won't kill you and when you are ready you will sleep
I was at the time not that happy with their reply I thought Huh cheers , but after I gave it some thought I did think well they have a point and the less anxious I got over not sleeping it eventually came back to normal
I think setting a bed time and then setting the alarm clock to go of at the same time every day even weekends can be a start even if it goes of and you think I can sleep now I don't want to get up , make yourself get up , it does take a while or it did for me but a pattern soon comes back and I hope yours does , look at the positive sounds like you have a nice clean house
