Your jaw pain could be from grinning your teeth while u sleep I get that once in awhile especially dealing with anxiety I do acupuncture and it helps a lot sometimes it goes away for a long time I also take lexapro and remember when I started I had headaches but they went away after the forth week hang in there hopefully it goes away soon
Hi I also take lexapro, and the headaches will go away, I've been on 10mg a day now for about 3-4 months, it does get better just hang in there!! ☺
Thanks so much it's wore me out today I just had a nap and it won't go away. Any home remedies for it?
Hi: I've been on Lexapro for years now, but nothing else, and it is a wonderful drug. I do not get tired or have any physical symptoms or bad reactions. When I was on a benzo (Ativan or Xanax etc) then I was sleeping my life away. Are you on anything else for anxiety? Sometimes combinations of medications can cause drowsiness.
As for the headache, I don't remember. The jaw pain could very well be from grinding your teeth or just baring down on the temperal mandibular joint putting undue stress on the facial muscles just as
Oliviera said. Hope you get some insight from all of us.
Thanks for the reply! I have clonazepam for when I have attacks but I haven't taken it in 3 weeks since I started on the anti-depressants. I only take them now. It's been about 3 months since I had my first attack and tried for 1 and half to get back on my own but my moods were just all over the place. I'm hoping these side effects will go away in time
