The hardest thing for me is staying positive amidst ingrained negative thinking and long term tension and anxiety. For a long time, I thought I needed to get help from others and it IS a good thing, but I just realized that no one but me can change my own thinking even if it is hard. I do believe in a spiritual point of view as well which requires faith, courage, perserverance, surrender and letting go.

You seem to be thinking along the same lines as me.Ive tried everything for my anxiety depression,negative thoughts,and really it has to come from me.I believe faith and courage and somehow accepting who you are helps.Good to hear from you
Thanks for replying. I agree with you on all points. In fact these are keys of life for everyone. Everyone suffers to some degree and it can be a catalyst for seeing life from a larger perspective.

I use to feel like you. I prayed. I had to say think positive about life. Work my sickness, don't let the sickness work me. You can do it. If you need to talk to someone go and talk.

Andypandy30: I offer you encouragement to hang in there and just be. Allow yourself to feel low but perhaps have a tiny bit of compassion for yourself. Although I don't know you, I appreciate the risk you took in asking for help! That is very good.
