Every month, about 5 days before my period my anxiety seems to get really bad. From the day my period starts until about 3 days in I have horrible panic attacks. Anyone else have this going on?

Hi, yes I have exactly the same symptoms as you, sometimes I think why am I feeling so bad and then I realise what the date is, yes I think a lot of us women suffer depression/anxiety etc because of are hormones my depression started when I started my periods age 15 I had a child breakdown and I know for a fact it was horrmal and had been ever since now in my 40s I had a breakdown in December and I think it's becasie I may be going through the change of life soon, yes I couldn't agree with you more, my GP gives me medication il message you the name again it's only a vitiam B6 but I high dose which I take (2) daily and there meant to help when your on your monthlys is defiantly worth given them a try, keep your chin up and keep telling yourself you lol be feeling better soon, keep in touch and let me know how your getting on x

Definitely! Binkynoo I've started dreading it as well. I am just a few days out of my last cycle and I'm feeling much better but 2 days before and the whole 7 days of my period I was a mess I was so scared and thought I had a million different illnesses. I have definitely noticed a pattern and now I am dreading the next one.

I wonder if the birth control pill would help? Anyone on it?
