DO I HAVE CANCER?: Guys.. ππ today i found... - Anxiety Support
DO I HAVE CANCER?
No, you absolutely don't have cancer. Because cancer itself does not make your hair fall out, but the chemotheraphy does.
Hair thinning, falling out... is usually a sign of a thyroid problem... I hope you will call your doctor and have them run a THOROUGH thyroid test on you... The general blood tests doesn't not cover it as well as it should... Hair falling out is not usually a sign of any kind of cancer.
Good luck to you! Let us know how the thyroid tests come out.

Are you pulling or tugging on your hair, sometimes this can be part of anxiety.
When we use a comb we do loose hair on the brush, this is part of the growth cycle

Hi, I noticed your post. And anxiety can really kick up about losing hair. I lose a lot! Specially in shower after conditioning. But no matter how many times I play with my hair it will come out.
I'm far from bald- but not thick hair either, so docs say it's completely normal ( I don't believe the amount I lose is normal). But thyroid, stress, and many other things like hormones make your hair change ALL the time! So do yourself the favor of not stressing over hair loss unless of course you are getting bald spots.
Generally ( and i can't speak for everyone) when people lose their hair, it's not from the cancer itself, it's from the treatment - so I really hope that helps you
