Hi Antonia, I'm having trouble sleeping tonight too, I'm a sufferer of anxiety and it comes and goes, I haven't been troubled for a few months by it but it's feeling like it's just around the corner and this is causing me to lie awake trying to get off to sleep, so annoying.

You're probably on edge and it's feeling like your heart is jumping, this is down to your worrying about it, if you're still awake try some deep breathing, all the time conscious of each breath and imagine yourself on a beach somewhere in the warm sunshine with the water lapping at your toes, this works well for me usually.

Hope you're ok.

Best wishes.

It's really scary it sends me over the edge I had an EKG done it came out fine I suggest you do the same and just make sure that you're heart is fine if you have a again remember Say OK doctor said my heart is fine just try to relax if you don't smoke you don't you're not severely over weight or you don't do drugs chances are that you are pretty healthy so just hang in there and everything is going to be OK I know thats easier said than done but it will be I hope that everything gets better for you !

I was having the skipping heartbeats also. I notice caffeine will do it. Also motrin and benedryl. I still get it occasionally. Are you taking any medications?
