Anxiety is the word that can describe everything that you are experiencing. I have had the same phase last night.... And trust me, it is the most uneasy feeling I have ever had. It just won't let me sleep. I thought I was never going to be able to sleep. But then, I just did something, and it worked for me. I am not sure if it will work for you, but I guess it should.

You just really have to talk to yourself, and let your emotions flow. You have to convince yourself that your mind is just acting to the symptoms, and the that you really are fine. Sleep and wake up to a fresh mind, and it should take your mind off for sometime.... Keeping yourself busy is the key. People say planning ahead just makes your anxiety worse, well I'd suggest, assign yourself short term goals. Like you know....

1. I have to reach to work...

2. I have to complete my work

3. I have to get home

4. Meet my friends...

5. Read a book (if that's your hobby)

6. Play the new game that's up this month (if you're a gamer)

and so on...

As kiddish and immature as it sounds, it really is effective.

Give it a try and let me know if this helps.

PEACE.

This is really good advice. I went to the spa with my friend today and it was very relaxing. I need to make a checklist of things to do daily. I need to get under better organization for one thing. It just seems like it's never ending. you understand?

I do, I know exactly what you mean. Just don't let the eternity of the fact bother you. They say Live in the moment, and not in your head....

But for that, you have got to give yourself that moment!

GO out there, and either find it, or create one.

Stay strong, Bliss and Bless

PEACE

Its just that you're focussing on it. You need to break the pattern by forcing yourself to focus on happy things. Your brain has just got trapped in negative thinking, that's all. I've been there. I know its not an easy thing to do but it really is a pattern and thats all. I know its horrible to feel stuck in it and frightening but I also know you can train yourself out of it.

Pick something simple, like a flower and sit and study it. It will draw you out of yourself. Do it whenever you feel that shitty feeling come over you. Think of things that you love and really breath each thing in, imagine yourself having these things. Honestly, it works. You've just got to teach your brain, your subconscious mind, that you love being happy, focus on that. Take your mind away from the black clouds and it'll stop raining and you'll ALWAYS have sunshine.

That is a good idea. Yes I do journal and workout. Maybe today I will do cardio for an entire hour.

Find something to do that takes your mind off your anxiety. Watch a comedy. Laughing helps. I like to do puzzles. I choose puzzle that had 1000 pcs. Concentrating on finding the pieces that fit helps me get my mind off my anxiety. It doesnt go away completely but it helps. I also journal. You dont have to do what I do but find a hobby to occupy you. Maybe even go for long walks. I do that too. This keeps you from just thinking about how awful you feel. God bless

How about if it happens when I'm in class or at work?

If it happens during class or work, Concentrate on on your lesson or task and always have water with you to drink. Dehydration can cause anxiety. Dont wait til your thirsty, small sips all day will help. Dont let your mind wander away from your lesson or task. Push thru. Also have a healthy snack with you so you can have during breaks. Keep your sugar levels even. Do this all the time and soon your mind will be retrained to keep you more positive. Not an overnight cure. Something you have to work on all day, everyday. Good luck. It will get better. Your brain will eventually be retrained. Don't forget to talk to friends and stay social.

Could be. Make sure you let doctor know all your symptoms. Write them down and take with you go to your next appt. Birth control can cause symptoms of anxiety. Good luck

I suffer just the same, last week I was convinced there was something seriously wrong with me and went to Doctors. He put me on the sick with anxiety for two weeks and the results of my blood tests came through clear. I focus on the stuff I enjoy, My music, the countryside, my lovely home. But then I keep getting thoughts like its gonna be taken away from me, I will lose my job and they'll take my home. Then the circle starts again and it's more anxiety, feeling tense feeling ill.

Sorry this is a little negative but I do struggle too.
