I been in bed for a hour now cant sleep feel scared but don't know what about... I feel like I keep posting and annoying everyone and don't want it to be oh she posting again π’ I do find tho site help me as lot of people don't understand

You know if I go to bed & find I cannot sleep I either read till I drop of or I come back downstairs and make a drink & try & relax then try again and usually works
The more you lay there wondering why you cannot sleep or what is bothering you the more you will wind yourself up
You are not a nuisance either post someone will always answer you if they are about
Hope you manage to drop of soon & failing all do what my Mum used to say which was shut your eyes imagine lots of sheep & count them x
I come and had a cupper never thought of Reading so might give that a go, hopefully my tablets will kick in soon and relax my body so I'm not on edge I hate bed time x
I used to feel like that until i started on medication which allows me to sleep now.
I cant sleep either yet.
and no one thinks that, i don't anyway lol
what do you do when you're in bed? Do you have something else to concentrate on?
I've been in bed for ages and still awake and tablets that ant working.... Stressed out so much shit going round and round in my head (sorry for swearing) got aches and pains in my arm and chest just when is it gonna stop
I try everything to go to sleep but nothing works telly on tryed reading and counting sheep and still nothing grrrrrr
Right no.1....breathe. Sit up, look at your palms, hold them infront of you like a book. Look at every part of them. Almost like you've never looked at them before. Work your way around your finger tips. Put light on if you need to.
if you have favourite song, maybe listen to it or sing it in your head, something to focus on.
When you cant sleep dont do anything that need your concentration!!
Just get out of your bed and drink lot of water that will reduce your stomach churn and also calm down your mind!!
Try to listen some soothing music!!
Go on terrace or any open place where you can feel breeze or cold wind flowing and feel you are in nature's lap!!
Reading would get you in your mind and that is dangerous sometimes!!
Those who can manage it is okay for them!!
But most of us we are not manage to stay out of our mind when you are reading!!
Thank you for reply I found that reason helped for a little while but I couldn't get in to the book as my mind was eles where some ice cream would have been nice π
