Hi everyone

I hoping you can help me out. I've been having slight motion sickness just when driving. Notice my heart beating fast and feels like all the blood goes to my feet.

I'm a very anxious person to begin with. Been taking some pills for motion sickness. Don't seem to help. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Some kinds of dizziness are from your eyes not sending the right signals of movement to you brain. This can be caused by anxiousness from what I've gathered. Hope you feel better

That's how my panic attacks started. Had motion sickness in the car when I had my first attack. That was 2 years ago & I still get them. I found if I drive I am ok. Try to keep calm & tell yourself you will get to your destination ok or sometimes wearing sunglasses also helps. Feel better soon!

Hi mom D

I have had motion sickness before but have a tendency to it when other people are driving. Now it's a new thing being when I'm driving. So much adrenaline!

My heart beating like I'm going up on a stage in front of hundreds of people! I Clean Dr. Offices at night. Up untill maybe 2 mos. ago my daughter worked with me. Now I'm by myself. Even in the job last night, I had all this adrenaline going on. I talked to my mom and I calmed right down. Driving home I'm fine. I've been looking for physical reasons but am exploring the anxiety side of it.

Seems like a wk. ago when my boyfriend drove I was ok.

How are you?

The more you worry about this the more your mind will engrain this. To avoid, start to imagine yourself as a calm driver, work through the journey and staying relaxed .

With practise you can override these panicy feelings. Your mind does not deferrentiate between what is real or what is imagined. So over time, you can trick your mind into staying calm.

If all fails, a hypnotherapist can help , especially if a specific situation initiated this . The "rewind technique " is brilliant to put an end to anxieties of this type.

I get my adrenaline going big time all day. Then around 7:00 in the evening I drive to my cleaning job. On the way, my heart is beating like crazy and my head feels woozy, like I was swinging on a swing at the playground. What I'm noticing, is on the way home I'm fine!

What do you make of that? ☺ I'm working pretty hard mopping and all that good stuff.

Rubyxx 😊
