Hi, I was wondering if anyone else suffers from sweating and feeling very hot even when it is cold? Cd it be a side effect of medication? I hate going out now cause I end up soaked in sweat.

I have found that I have been sweating a lot more when I'm anxious since starting anti-depressants. Especially my palms.

O.M.D !!! yes I do I am on sertline and the sweating is bad,also I get a funny feeling when trying to go to sleep,lol that a joke can not sleep any way, I get hot sweats as I am at that time in life.so with the medication and the nights sweats, it is not oh happy days.

I had this quite badly with Sertraline when i first started it but I think it has calmed down a lot now, but sometimes still get a bit shivery even when I am warm and night sweats quite badly.

How long have you been on the medication for? My doctor said it can take a couple of months for side effects to calm down.

hi sally I remember when my wife went on them about a year ago, for the first 2 months she said she always felt cold, but it did get a lot better as she got used to the tablet, so it should get better in time. good luck with them xx

Thank you, yes been on them for 3 weeks now and already the side effects are so much better. Its important to stick them out because they do improve eventually! x
