Higher Disgust With anxiety?

Uhh....so it seems when I am stressed, I cannot take the sight of blood. Or anything graphic. I like murder mysteries and some shows that are bloody but when I am anxious, like I am now, I suddenly do not want to see it. Is this abnormal? I get like super hypersensitive.

Hi,

No you are not abnormal. Like you said when we are anxious are senses are on red alert. I love these kind of shows also and other real life documentaries like 24 hours in A&E. But when anxious it is a no go area. Try meditation before hand to try and relax. If it doesn't work. You just have to record it until you are ready to watch. Anxiety is a terrible thing. Take care.

I`m the same, when stressed, I`m far more sensitive to loud noises, raised voices, or anything unpleasant.
