Horrible nights sleep
Yes I have
It's our minds that sometimes even at rest it won't stop racing.
Have you tried doing calming techniques before going to bed?
Example:
•avoid tv or stimulating music an hr before bed
•drinking chamomile tea or warm milk with nutmeg and honey
•warm shower or bath
Stuff to slowly calm you before actually sleeping it really does help.
Hope this helped
xx
Yaz
I've never gotten butterflies, but I have woken up gasping for air.
few months ago during the peak of my anxiety, and even now I occasionally wake up freaking out and gasping for air. within a minute or 2 of sleeping I could wake up 5 or 6 times gasping.
when it first happened to me, I was freaking out because I had nooo idea what was going on, that maybe I stopped breathing while asleep and maybe I could die of asphyxiation, but I was told I was breathing fine while sleeping and I'd suddenly wake up gasping for air the next second.
I found that sleeping on my side helped me, maybe it could help you!
Thanks guys! and yaz I will try those techniques thankyou thanks for your responses xx
