Woke one morning and room was spinning

Woke up 5 yrs ago and room was spinning since then dizziness everyday sometimes I can't stand and have to lie still on one side till it wears off wich leaves me feeling sickly please help as docs hve gave me 5mg diazapam but I'm worried it will make me worse

Has your doctor checked your health in general

Sometimes anxiety can make us feel this way but also things like Vertigo can do which is an inner ear problem , make sure you ask to have these things checked to make sure they are not adding to your dizziness already

Diazapam will not harm you & usually are used on a short term basis as they can be addictive

If you feel 5mg is to much you could cut or even bite one in half see how you feel taking that , they do take the edge of severe anxiety I have taken them myself

But again this should normally be a temporary measure & I would ask your doctor what treatment they can offer to help you long term
