Racing heart when i wake up

Anyone else get this it's freaking me out I can feel it coming on and bang heart goes like the clappers. Everyone keeps saying its normal and anxiety but it's so hard to believe when it happens :( need some help on this I'm I the only one

Hey Im here for you because i know its scary tell me how often does it happen? and how long does it last when its happens?

You re not alone.many people here suffer if this.Heart racing,anxiety etc..it will go away..but I know it s scary when it comes ..be strong,you re not alone :-)

I've had this a few times and not just In the morning,scary but it does go away.x

It happens for around ten minuets but comes in waves sometimes :( x

mine too hey, its horrible but the moment my mind thinks of a racing heart i try and pinch myself to take my mind off of it or i will just like rub my arm or just do something distracting and i tell myself im not gonna do this not now and just take deep breaths and just calm down have you ever thought of getting you an herbal tablet? to calm you im on calmshen at the moment it really helps.. i take it daily when i feel like you do... take relaxing baths get something to keep your mind distracted you know when im off from work i hate it because thats when i start getting paranoid i love when im at work then im distracted just get ursef distracted in a good way

Dont worry we will get through this, the doctors just says theres nothing to worry about and they make you feel more insecure but i say lets just help eachother on this site get through our daily fears

This actually happen to me this morning!

I just ignore it now and do my deep breathing :)

Have you looked into Mindfulness?

It really does help:)

Hi for me I try to keep in mind that when this happens during the night or when i wake at any point it is because I read that your sugar levels can crash and for me I make sure that I don't go to bed hungry and keep a packet mints handy :o)
