I do 50/50 cardio and weights. Running gets my heart rate up then I hit the weights. I don't do more than 3/4 of an hour total even if I feel I could. Hope you feel better soon.

I used to keep working out until I was exhausted when I was younger but as you get older (I'm 56) it's not good to completely exhaust your body. I do a hard fast dog walk of 2-4 miles through rough woods every day and hit the gym straight after three times a week.

I would really recommend walking and running. I'm doing the NHS couch to 5k programme which is great but it sounds like you're already pretty fit! Hope you're feeling better this morning.

I am in fact a little bit of the morning stuff I've decided to think posertive things each morning when I awake as it's another day on the road to recovery

Hi big guy, I do cardiovascular stuff to distract me and slow down the racing thoughts. This complements the relaxation technique of concentrating on your breathing, slow controlled deep breathing. Exercise also releases endorphins which will improve your mood and help you relax.
