Hello my friends.... Well I still hold out some hope of finding my cat... But I think I may have to stop looking through the new neighbourhood ...Its getting to be upsetting now and a little frustrating.. She was born wild and I found her in a open lot..... I had been told that when moving a cat I would have had to keep her in the house for a month at least.... Which I knew was going to be almost impossible for her to bare....In the old place if she couldn't get out she went crazy and would claw at the windows. I have to think now that she will live in the wild or that maybe someone will take her in... But as she was so shy I just don't know . I feel sad but I may need to accept the fact that I have lost her back to nature..I have been through to much in the past few months to have this everyday search prolong my sadness. Just an unfortunate turn of events... But I need to think of myself and my own happiness now...much love to you all steve.
April 5th.: Hello my friends.... Well I... - Anxiety Support
April 5th.
evening Steve
I think you are right to stop looking as it can take to much out of you. Cats are pretty smart and can look after them self I have found.
Hope you are enjoying your new place and settling in okay. You sound a lot better in yourself these last few posts I am so pleased for you.
Wishing you well in your new home and the future.

I had to let it out this morning and I had a good cry I feel terrible but as you say she won't starve as Cats are very capable hunters There are so many places where she can hold up and be out of the weather There are sheds and garages all over the new neighbourhood. Ill have to take that as some solace I had her as my pal for 7 years. Its heartbreaking ....
Hi Steve
Sorry your cat has not come back. I don't know much about cats but you say she was feral before so maybe the stress of the move has made her retreat for a bit. You never know she might just turn up one day. I'm glad you are sounding a lot more positive.
Xx
Yes I can't go on like this.... not after all have already been through.. I`ll have to let it go now I need to be less emotional about her running off... In my heart I don't think she would have been able to stand being kept inside.... So I hope she will be ok . thank you steve
Hi Steve.Sorry you've not found your cat,but as gardener says, cats will look after themselves.Wishing you every happiness in your new place xxxx
Hi ltg Thank you Yes Cats are survivors they know how to fend for themselves...Hunting for food comes naturally So I had a good cry this morning... Now Ill have to let it go... Bless you steve
Hi Steve,
It is so sad when a pet goes missing, but as you say she has probably gone back to the wild. One of my cat's went missing, never to be found, but I like to think she went to a good home. They always say cat's find you, and come into your life for a purpose. I do hope she turns up some day.
Look after yourself Steve. Eunice
We had a cat (also semi-wild) who was missing for a few weeks Turned up in a neighbour's garage - neighbour had been on holiday. Cat was thin and dirty but well in himself. Think the hunting skills he had learned as a kitten came back. I'm sure there was mice in garage and certainly a lot od insects. Don't give up hope, and as you suggest always poss. that someone has taken cat in and a nice new home found!
Was she microchipped. This is the safest way for a cat to be identified. Collars are dangerous unless they are snap on and off ones. Remember to check all the local cats protection groups in your area as they often take in lost cats and you can put a lost advert in their site(Important as there can be more than one around where you live or cat could of got in a van by mistake and been taking further afield!)....posters up is a good idea too around your area in windows...post offices and phone boxes lampost etc.also leaflets through doors asking folk to check their sheds outside areas etc.....Sorry you have had a bad time....its so heartbreaking. Goodluck
Next time I will do the chip. Don`t want to go thru that again... I knew it was going to be hard for her to move and stay inside for a long while... She had the freedom to come and go as she pleased in the old house... I`ll try that shed thing.... I did do most of your recommendations... thanks Anuba steve
