Good news for once!

I booked a hearing test on tuesday because iv`e been concerned about my hearing as a result of missing what people are saying on tv now & again. I had the test today, & the results were exellent according to the woman who did the test. She said my hearing was at the top range for someone of my age, which really set my mind at rest. It seems that years of listening to music on portable devices hasn`t damaged my hearing like I was told years ago. People used to say that I`d wind up deaf if I kept wearing a walkman, & I`m glad to find out that they were wrong. It was a welcome piece of news after being told that I`d lost an inch in height earlier in the week.

I had to smile as when I used to play my music loud when I was younger my Mum used to say you will end up going deaf playing it that loud !
