Daily headaches

Just wondered how much the average anxiety sufferer tends to gets headaches. My anxiety come and goes in waves usually around two months at a time, During this time I suffer daily headaches or atleast 4 days a week and its very stressful.

I suffer with headaches & migraines

I think my migraines are hormone related but the other headaches I get are when I am anxious

They are very stressful I agree & because they are we get more anxious which causes the headaches to last longer

I have just said on another post , if you ever notice when you get these headaches that if you touch round your shoulders or your neck that you feel tender spots that really hurt , I know I do , which are the muscles that are all knotted & tense , I know then I have to practice relaxing ( easier said than done ) so the muscles will relax & the headaches will ease

I hope someone has some better suggestions , I am struggling with migraines at the moment so may not be the best answer bit wanted to let you know I had read your post

Hi Miami.

I am one of the fortunate ones who doesn't get headaches, but there are quite a few members that do. I think the only thing you can do is take paracetamol and try and relax. Sorry I can't be of more help.

cheers I do tend to get red and watery eyes aswell and the headaches are always behind the eyes. Its strange how you are 95% sure you have not got a brain tumour but always think its possible when its constant. Its amazing how anxiety can cause all this.
