Had an ok yesterday, was hoping we would get through the day without arguing but that didnt happen and we ate our christmas dinner in silence

I think after your post what you did saying what your parents had told you it might have been inevitable that tensions might have been running a bit high yesterday & could have contributed to the arguing !

I think I have read somewhere on Christmas Day more families argue than any other time , sometimes all these adverts showing happy families makes us believe that is how the perfect Christmas should be , but believe me so many families argue , it wont have been just yours even though I know it can be very upsetting

Sorry it resulted in you having your dinner in silence but pleased to read the rest of the day went ok
