For Winter (and anyone else who's interested :D)

Okay, so I mentioned on Winter's positive Friday thread that I'd finished making a sock monkey for my youngest brother's Christmas present. Here's a photo of the result. Ignore the slightly dodgy embroidery (and the fact he's balancing on my law books haha) - I hadn't sewn anything for years until I decided to do this and I've only ever done limited amounts of embroidery. I'm pleased with the way it turned out and I'm almost tempted (once we find our sewing machine - I sewed this one by hand) to make another

I love it it's great

I used to love sewing as a child and it reminds me of a cowboy I made... I cut up my dad's best shorts to make it. It was very good and he thought I was talented until he realised what it was made of!!!

I've just shown my toddler and he smiled and said it was funny xx
