Having suffered with anxiety attacks for over a year, tonight's the first bad feeling I've had since starting propanolol at start of year.so want to sleep, but I feel very shaky, and struggling to get my breathing regulated, slight pins and needles in hands, hate these horrible feelings especially when I'm alone x

Morning Lynne

I hope you managed to sleep eventually last night & those feelings subsided

They really are awful & it does sound like you were feeling anxious causing these sensations

I no you have been taking the meds a year & they have been working , sometimes after a certain period of time they can need adjusting

I would see how you feel over the next few days , if you feel like this again or it may have been a one of , but if you do , then go & have a word with your GP

Let us no how you go on & hope you feel better today :)

Love

Hi thanks for replying,I eventually got to sleep about 3 am,after telling myself I've had them feelings before even without medication and I've been ok afterwards, need to try and stop stressing over silly things through day because that's probably what starts the night attacks,if they come back more often I will speak to my gp.thanks again x

Glad you got to sleep in the end

I no I to stress over the silly things during the day , so you are not on your own

I dont no if you like music or reading , but reading does help fill my mind with other things before I go to sleep & blocks out the negatives for me :)
