Anxiety attack.

I tried to go to the doctor this morning, funnily enough about anxiety, when I just felt so ill I had to leave there and come back home. I tried to ignore it but the feeling of nausea was so strong that I couldn't hold out. Right I feel terrible for not being able to grit my teeth and go. Does anyone know of any medication that works, anything to take the nausea feeling away, if it wasn't for the nausea I wouldn't panic as much.

Hi,

The tablets work differently for everyone, so I don't really want to advise you what you need.

I hope the nausea goes away soon and you can get back to the drs x

Hi

I dont no of anything you can take as such to stop you feeling sick , I no its an anxiety symptom lots seem to get

I have felt sick before with anxiety & I think the fear of been sick makes it worse , even though to be honest , when I am at the doctors I think well if I am sick or faint because I am so worked up , I am in the right place & they will see just how bad this affects me

I take water with me & mints it helps a little

I hope you manage to go back again , maybe come on for support before your next appointment might help a little :)

Hi, you could try those wrist bands you can get for travel sickness supposed to be good for nausea , or ask pharmacist what might help :)

Hi, my daughter suffers from nausea terribly with her anxiety. We have tried various things without much success, the latest being a ginger & lemon tea, unfortunately she didn't care for it but might be worth a try.

She is now seeing a therapist who, to put it bluntly, says the best way to cure the nausea is to treat the anxiety.

I do hope you get back to see the doc, maybe take someone along for moral support next time & of course, keep talking here :-)

Hi sorry to here you did not make it

Into the docs. I did read once that you can get tabs from doc for nausea. Maybe you will get in there soon. Also i suck boiled sweets for bad taste in mouth and nausea. I find they help me but not my teeth . Unfortunatly it goes with anxiety and can make us feel very rough. As already said stop anxiety and this does stop. Easier said than done. All systems seem to get upset with anxiety including our stomach.hope you xan get in docs soon and get some help.

Take care

Bonnie
