Went to the toilet and a blood vessel burst in my nose...so naturally this is a sign of my imminent demise rather than a combination of going to the toilet with hot and dry air with no moisture in my nose - stupid brain stop it, I've been doing 3 or 4 outings a day this week...I IS FINE !!!!!

O that made me smile , that just sounds like my brain , the slightest thing & like you say its the end , till you reason with yourself & the facts are there that no its not

Not easy though for those few minutes when you go into an instant panic

I am calm again (well as calm as I get...) I haven't planned any specific trips out - just getting out in preparation for big family thing next Saturday - my nan's 80th, involves a bit of a journey - hope to be o.k if not I can just go hide in the car for a bit (good to have back-up)

Oh dear, what a frightening experience for you You are right about the trigger though. Nose bleeds are extremely common and very seldom sinister. Practise your breathing and try to let your anxiety pass. All is well. You are fine.xxx

It was only the tiniest pop of blood...even the OH is complaining about the heat right now - thought hot nights were over...

I'm really struggling first thing in the mornings at the moment with bad anxiety and health anxiety.
