Hello Louise
Sweetheart , maybe as you are 10 weeks pregnant they dont feel it will be safe to take meds , which I no doesnt help , but also I no you want your baby to be ok , so dont take it personal that they wont help in that way
What they can & should do , is be offering you some support , like counselling & your midwife & health visitor again should be offering support , if you are not getting it , I no its hard but keep asking , till they listen
I no how that feeling is when nothing is going in , yet you can hear people , it is anxiety love
As whywhy says, we are here for you darling. Try to distract yourself from the anxious thoughts, just sitting in a dark room with my feet in a bowl of cold water can help me. Vicks vapour rub on my forehead, anything you feel will help calm you down.
I know meds can help but it is best to stay med free...obv advice is to avoid caffine and have a b vit sup, if you are doing that then just keep talking and blogging...though I can offer some hope in saying the middle trimesters of my three pregnancys were defo the calmest I've been in the past 12 years or so - something to do with hormone stability or coughcough cracking orgasms coughcough...hang in there and good luck
Oh Louise I do sympathise. I stopped my meds when I fell pregnant & struggled for a while, but it did get better I promise. As others have said keep on at your doc or midwife & be kind to yourself, you have the perfect excuse!
One other thing, much later in my pregnancy was feeling breathless & faint, thought it was my anxiety but turned out I was anaemic, a course of iron tablets had me feeling much better. Just something to bear in mind later on.
thank u everyone for your support i cant even talk to my family they just push me out so glad i can talk to people ablout this its nice to get it off my chest, hannah im noton no medications hun i stopped them over a year ago
im going to fight this just some days i get really down.
Hi. In my oppinion that's not the best solution to take any pills if you are pregnant. It really harms the health of your baby like p.e. smoking or drinking. Try to find someone who can discuss your problems with you for example a friend, or other people who have the same or similar problems within their lives.
Pills and medications not the best way of healing yourself all the way of life.
