Just a quick update to my previous caffeine blog, it's now been 5 days since switching to decaff, and it's the 5th day with a headache
I really hope it wears off soon!

Well done I truly understand , I have tried and failed to clear my head of caffeine . But well done stay on the decaf and don't do what this mad Scotsman did . I substituted my coffee for drinking iron bru ( I had no idea that it was full of caffeine too . I did read that the withdrawal systems can last up to ten days keep going your half way there .
I had to stop drinking coffee as it was making my anxiety worse, i did start drinking one a day thou not long back. Ive stopped it altogether and am a tea person now. The headaches will wear off in time xxx
Hi altho I read often, I don't write as I'm not that confident in my own views. But i do have experience with this. Please stick with it. The headaches will pass. I used to drink diet coke tea and coffee. But mainly coke. I tried several times to get free of caffeine. The headache is really horrid. But it will pass. Well done for the first five days. I actually had to wean myself off it. Like you do with medication. The withdrawal from just cutting it out all at once affected me really badly. The fact that you have got through five days suggests that you will succeed.
Keep at it. And well done. K. xx
Aww thanks hun. Take care and keep on fighting. K xx
yeah I know the headache, seemed to get more neusea and constipation too, gets better though - love the decaf pg tea, all I need to do now is stop drinking that 4 times a day and cut down the sugar as well as drinking more water (boring lol)
I mainly have fruit teas now, I had headaches when I stopped caffeine too but your body is adjusting I got told to drink so much water you felt like you were a lake lol it helps hydrate and flush the toxins out xx
