Ive had anxiety a while and lost if physical symptoms but now i think i have health anxiety i keep chekin my self and iv sound a dint when i tence my pec like the muscles dissapeard is thus normal the right side is not like that in si scared once again:(!!

I have health anxiety & believe me , if we keep prodding & poking we will always find something that we havnt felt before
It sounds perfectly normal , & be positive you have some pecks

I am always chekin my self atleast 20mins a day its anoyin n i always find something also wer the dent is i get pains above it and my right sides fine x

I too have health anxiety and I always remember something my late mum said to me years ago when I was worrying over a symptom - 'if you keep looking hard enough you'll find something'!
SO true with our predisposition to prod, poke and examine our every excretion and orifice.
I've done it too many times to remember. Every time scared the sh*t out of myself by then Googling the perceived symptom.
Ye that's what i do i start to look what could be wrong me what about the physical symptoms?? Ther scary and painful and also my jobs a physical one so doesn't help x
Hi John, reading your question I felt sheer empathy with you..years ago when my Gad n health anxiety where at there worst I would check my body hundreds of times a day until lots of it was sore from all the prodding, keep going over n over the same spot till I was certain it was ok..of course it was just me and my anxiety wanting reassurance constantly
..for me I sought help as tbh it was like an addiction like drugs or alcohol so had to completely stop, with the help of a brilliant psychologist I did learn to control it, thing is im totally the other way now, dont check anything or do any tests..grrrr what we must do eh to get some anxiety relief..take care D
