I have felt so depressed my life is just going through the motions I often feel angry, tired and thoughtless/emotionless. I feel disconnected when my loved ones show affection or talk with me I cannot feel love in return. My feelings dont feel validated. I believe living with a narcissist parent and the other parent not listening to me for years could have caused this. I just want to know is there anyone out there that has been so overcome with the feeling of numbness

you’re not alone, there are millions of people experiencing the exact same thing you are. 8 billion humans on earth and we have the same parts! Are you on any kind of medication?

omg I have similar feelings🙁it’s easy for me to be angry or just feel sad sometimes and once in awhile I don’t know why. I do have things to be thankful for and those close to me, but often feel like they don’t fully understand what I’m going thru. Just feeling like I can’t truly tell anyone. I can feel guilty for not feeling glad when things are alright but just feel depressed once in awhile. 😔I’ve been also feeling numb and wondering what it’s from. I heard from a friend that ice baths or splashes of cold water can help with feeling present in the body🌸🙏🏽

I always wonder why I feel “numb” but without the usual panic attack. I’m not sure if it’s the result of trauma

Yes. Been there, lived that. I posted about self care this morning and I think the article could be helpful for you. Give it a read through if you have a second.🫂💞

Here's a podcast that discuss Carl Jung female self confidence. It's definitely worth listening 🎧 to . I found it while eating breakfast. I always listen to something that is pertinent to my journey while I eat in the morning.

Try going outside and maybe going for a walk.I had a friend that walked everyday and it helped get rid of his depression.
