Really struggling with self worth over the last few days. My wife of over 30 years said she is struggling with some depression and may want a split. I don't know what to do. She is my world and we have two kids together. I am lost right now.

Self Worth

so many people here struggling, sometimes they say space and time strengthens your relationship but all you can do is be there for someone should they need you. Have you tried couple counselling. Looks you would really benefit and understand each other more.
It sounds like she needs space to learn to deal with her depression, and figure out whats going on with her. My depression often gets mixed up in daily stuff between my partner and I have to clarify that sometimes I just feel sad, it's a brain chemical thing, there doesn't have to be a reason why....it just happens, and it's not my partners fault, and they can't fix me, they just need to accept that sometimes I need space....and the mistake many with depression often do is look for a reason for their depression. There can be many things that also tie into the pre-existing depression adding to it. There is no cure for depression, just management and learning coping skills. But other things that contribute to depression can be worked on. But the best way to sort that all out is to go to a qualified therapist over a period of time and work it out.
