I want to get better I really do I am trying my hardest too and yet I feel so much worse while trying. The logical side of my brain and the emotional fight to such a constant state it feels so immature and like there’s something wrong me that I’m posting this here or anywhere else. I deleted all of my social media just to attempt To join another. Idk posting to the void.

You will feel bad while healing because your delving into issues. Hope things gets better for you.

I understand that logically but emotionally it just doesn’t work

You are right, it was the same case for me. The intellectual brain and the emotional part didn't connect:

However, you need to continue to push through this. These are two separate parts of you that may never line up. Healing is very difficult, don't let any of your parts stop you from moving forward

I know I need to continue to heal it just sometimes specifically that action part of brain screams “it’s not doing anything your not healing run”

I did a therapy called IFS for many years. I wonder if that part that is saying run is protecting you from what may open up.

I hope in time you can have that brain step aside to lead you towards more healing

Emotional healing, coping with trauma, dealing with depression etc.....is an emotional roller coaster. You will have ups and downs, and some is chemical, and some is just rumination of old ghosts that haunt us. It helps to know your not alone with this, but getting all the tools you need to cope is good to have on those days your feeling low....therapy, meds if needed or wanted, healthy ways to express yourself, and surrounding yourself with things that make you feel good. Some days we just ride the waves, and comfort ourselves, give yourself the space and permission to do so till you get to the other side of it. It's an inevitable cycle, and we live with it, and don't let it define us.

Yea your brain has patterns, it's trying to follow, and you're trying to correct them. Deleting your social media and recreating it isnt wrong. It's normal. Heck, maybe you're deleting social media that isnt working for you, and created something that might work better?

The path to healing isnt a straight line.

And what works for some people, doesnt work for others. The important part, is you're trying things. You're aware, and you're trying, and that's the only way to progress.
