Does anyone suffer from seasonal affective disorder or get the winter blues ? I really had a difficult time with it last year and do not want a repeat now that there is less daylight.
If anyone has any advice or ideas on things that works for them . I would love to hear it .

I have a parrot. They require sun on their bodies to stay healthy. A window doesn't help. Her bird specialist had some kind of a device to measure the UVB emitted from bulbs. Almost all the commercial bulbs labeled for UVB, when tested, produced very little light.
This has made me very skeptical about manufacturer's labeling.
Yes; I get SAD. Not just in the winter, but any time light levels are low such as grotty grey and grimy wet days. a sunny day will have me much brighter.
