unexplained urge to stretch my hamstrings

Sleeping is very illusive for me . Lately as soon as I hit the hay this urge comes over me to stretch my hamstrings .It is primarily in one leg .I do not think it is Restless leg syndrome . This will go on for 3-4 hours til I finally take a pill or some benadryl. I am not anxious , things in my life are very stable. As soon as my leg sees the bed it starts acting up🙄

I am on Pregabalin which is for nerve irritation a separate issue.I take one of those and a melatonin 5 mg before bed …It not help my crazy insomnia

Waiting to see my GP.

ANY THOUGHTS?

Have you talked to your GP?

I had an acquaintance that had something similar. I think it was her whole body she felt the need to stretch. Her doctor did give it a diagnosis but I can't remember what it was

Just curious if you got an answer
