A return to my Welsh cottage

For those who may have read my posts about buying and visiting the little Welsh cottage of my dreams, here is an update.

At last long last I have been able to visit it again as lockdown restrictions lift. I am writing this sitting up in bed looking out over the estuary with the tide coming in and the woods and hills misty on the horizon.

My little garden is very overgrown after 4 months of neglect but it has lovely flowers as well as weeds and I was delighted to see it has raspberry canes and a great crop just ready for me to pick. I was able to have fresh raspberries on my cereal this morning.

It is the small pleasures which make life worthwhile sometimes.

I’m doing alright at the moment. Super busy with my online grad school studies. Two and a half weeks left and in the semester, then I get a short break before the fall semester starts.
