Changing my negative thoughts/decrease paranoia.

How do I change my negative thoughts? How do I decrease the amount of paranoia I feel. I spend far too much of my day fearing the opinions of others and assuming they are paying me far more attention than they actually are. However, I haven't found a way that eliminates my irrational thinking. I still feel strongly that others are paying attention to me and judging me brutally. Suggestions, advice, "humility check" is always welcome. Thanks.

I hear this. I struggle with the same things. Yes, I think that everyone is watching and judging me even though I know logically that they're not. Have you looked at the article that Hypercat54 posted a link to? I suggest you look at it because was a real game changer for me!

Well, how would you know that lol. Did you ask me? Or did they tell you I don't know them?

The link is below. I'm only trying to help. If you don't like it don't read it.

I was commenting on how you knew I didn't know hypercat54.

because she's a username here. You can see it below. I could have worded it to say "Have you looked at the article that username Hypercat54 posted a link to?". I'll do that next time I refer you to another's post (which I won't do again since you seem to be more excited about creating arguments)

End of discussion.

You too🙂Again, I only want to help. I see that my wording could have been different. Tbh, I assumed you would know to look up this username's profile and find the post yourself. Then when you replied I was like "oops! Ok, I can see the confusion here" and found it for you. Sorry for confusing you.

This back and forth has helped me to know not to assume everyone knows this site and knows to think what i wrote would be someone's username, so I thank you for that!

Here it is. It talks about why people pleasing doesn't work. On second thought, it doesn't really go with your question, but it might be of interest anyway.
