Had to have a laugh today, I was watching the rowing and was looking at the " Cox" yes I've been careful on how I spell this 😅 but looking at the size of him against all his fellow rowers he's quite small like a jockey, perhaps its my weird sense of humour but on a serious note does he get a gold medal 🏅 as I feel he's got a pretty easy " job" but I suppose team work wins the day 😉

We are fine here and have had some enjoyable days out this summer so far!

Job hunting is fine but can get a bit much at times as Thursday I did 2 interviews in Newport one at one end of the town and the other in the afternoon at the other end of the town!

Baby has driven us crackers with bad tempered meows about the heat!

Thursday last week when I was in Newport I found the heat was a bit much myself but still did my interviews as booked!There is a really good greengrocers in the town centre in Newport that sells all kinds of stuff like white turnips all year round and swede and carrots with the green tops on them and squash!

We have one up the hill called the fruit supply who are really nice and friendly and there's a greengrocers in Canton up west called Laura's who sell white turnips.

That's a shame not having any traditional greengrocers shops nearby!

All the traditional food shops have gone round here now. Unless I can get to a farm shop but you need a car for that

When I lived in the inner city at one point there was a greengrocers shop nearby but it shut down and so did the one on Clifton St but they do have Asian produce shops there which sell white turnips and mooli but it's not the same as the traditional greengrocers shop!

I feel it was the best thing that happened to me when I was turfed out of that flat last year!

😆CB I absolutely love your sense of humor. You make me laugh all the time. How about that guy boxer that fought a female boxer and knock the female out in 45 seconds and they're trying to say that he's a female too what's is going on with that nonsense if you look at them he looks like a man so I don't know what they're trying to say here but he shouldn't have been fighting a woman and knocking her out like that that's pretty crazy

I think whatever God made you is what they should go by. Men dont have any business fighting in women sports. We should find the strongest woman on earth… and fight against the same men and knock them the hell out !! Im sorry if he didnt cut it in men’s wrestling and actually feels good about himself for entering women sports. Where is the line drawn? Someone needs to call him out for what the real issue is ….. they’re allowing him to legally abuse women. If i were the opponent… since id already lost… i would have not left that ring until he’d be done as well from not being able to see due to me hityimg his nose so hard itd come out the back of his head looking like a cockatoo with the head on a swivel!

You are so funny....I agree with you 💯 percent with everything you said. Knock that little shameful bastard to the ground and pummele him! You can clearly see that he's a man in a woman's body but they tried to pass it off that HE has both X and Y chromosomes....well let him go fight men then and see what happens to him there. The Olympic committee should have never have let him fight a woman and they did. How disappointing is that.

Yes, the cox is nearly always a small person, as the only one looking forward, he has the job of steering and also setting the stroke rate of the oars, The rowers are all beefy; basically the cox is the controller, and his job is just as important, but they don't want extra weight in the boat to slow it.
